The University Studies requirement for all majors at Utah State University consists of General Education requirements and Depth Education requirements.
In addition to the University Studies component, there are PSB course requirements for each major offered. In some cases, a departmental course may also satisfy a University Studies or Depth Education requirement. University Studies Requirements
*English 1010 Introduction to Writing
*English 2010 Intermediate Writing
*Math 1050 College Algebra
*OSS 1400 Microcomputer Applications in Business - for Computer Information Literacy CIL
Breadth Requirements (18) credits which will include at least (2) USU courses e.g. USU 1300, USU 1320, USU 1330, USU 1340, USU 1350 or USU 1360
Depth Education Requirements - (2) courses Communication Intensive (CI); (1) course Quantitative Intensive (QI and (1) course Humanities or Creative Arts (DHA). No Depth Social Science required.
